Dashboards for monitoring defects in IT projects play a key role in assessing software quality and the effectiveness of its improvement. The article describes different types of reports, such as statistics on open and closed defects, defect lifetime and defect closure rate. It emphasises the importance of appropriately selected KPIs and intuitive data visualisation to support analysis, risk identification and project decision making.
